Let's Go Karaoke! Anime Shares Kyoji Narita Birthday Illustration

Today, May 5, is the birthday of Kyoji Narita, one of the two protagonists in the upcoming TV anime Let's Go Karaoke! To celebrate this memorial day, the anime's official website and X (formerly Twitter) have posted a special newly-drawn illustration depicting him with his bangs down. The site also offers free SNS icons and smartphone wallpaper using this illustration. Additionally, KADOKAWA's official anime YouTube channel will stream a special program to celebrate Kyoji's birthday from 20:00 (JST) / 04:00 (PT) on May 5. The anime's two main voice cast members — Daisuke Ono (Kyoji Narita) and Shun Horie (Satomi Oka) — are scheduled to appear. RELATED: Let's Go Karaoke! and Captivated, by You Get TV Anime Adaptations The TV anime adaptation of Yama Wayama's Let's Go Karaoke! comedy manga series is set to premiere in Japan in July 2025, along with a TV anime adaptation of Wayama's another manga series, Captivated, by You . The same main staff works on both series. Asami Nakatani serves as the director at animation studio Doga Kobo. Yukiko Tsukahara acts as assistant director, Yoshimi Narita provides the series composition, Mai Matsuura provides the character designs, and Takuro Ida provides the music. Enterbrain publishes both Let's Go Karaoke! and Captivated, by You in Japan under their Beam Comics imprint. Yen Press also publishes English language versions for both titles.
