 This is a short discussion of why Toradora anime is poorly written and why generic anime is trash.

  @archeotech Toradora's issues had absolutely zero weight, it kept pushing just one perspective as the right, there was guilt-tripping as well, and was just whiny. It also introduced side characters and discarded them just as quickly without any development or conclusion. And some characters were pushed to be "Quirky" and just ended up weird AF. It was a shit show in my opinion. I cud agree on not the same league but ye. About working! , it definitely was lower. They used male ass@ult as the butt of jokes and literally the entire plot revolved around it. Hell, they even made the mc feel guilty for objecting to it and not seeing the girl's "intention" or whatever while she wasn't even trying to control herself. I'd rank it as low as rent a girlfriend if not EXarm bcoz the latter had problems not related to the story itself.

  @lazydude_deb I don't want to demean you but unless you haven't watched shows March comes in like a lion , violet evergarden , oregairu , pet girl of sakuraso , Angel Beats, anohana, etc.; you wouldn't have ranked working that high. It's not only cliched but problematic as well. Maybe u just have a connection to it or maybe u just prefer it over shows I call good; personal opinions I guess but for me, it's hella bad.

  @soham9703 sadly Sakurasou was good but that annoying girl shina and weird friends ruined it completely..more than comedy it was too annoying..I love Barakamon but yes it's too boring..sequel Handa kun was better..Violet evergreen good but average for me..anohana and angel beats saw but not much good story..ending sad but not good...they easily stretched a lot...but u liked it right? I did not enjoy it a bit..even I prefer Stop Hibari kun over these animes...that's what I was saying for u those are good for me those are trash specialty violet evergarden was real trash for me..everyone has diff tastes....

  @soham9703 but I respect ur choices...for me.. I am much into comedy ecchi harem isekai and gag shows..not much drama romance or action...but hey...nothing wrong with it...I am enjoying my animes..simple...

  @lazydude_deb harem is the trashiest genre out there adding it on with ecchi. Even for gag shows and comedies which I m into, working doesn't present anything new and doesn't even do it well. It's fine if u like it but from a critical view, it's trash. And u r just caping with violet evergarden and the others coz u probably didn't understand them. The literal definition of "good" pieces of media is which makes u think, is touching, and so on. Enjoying it is a personal thing but appreciating it for its beauty is another. Even in comedies, there are far superior like konosuba , golden boy, Asobi asobase etc. who do something your cliched shows don't. Harem is the pinnacle of copy-paste formula and edging viewers to select "best girl". The shit show overall. I don't really care if u enjoy them or not but from critics' view and mine, it's trash. Good day.
