Demon Slayer -Kimetsu no Yaiba- The Movie: Mugen Train  rolls back into Japanese theaters later this week with a new 4K remaster. At a Demon Slayer event tonight in Yokohama, the official website announced that a special sneak preview of the upcoming Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Infinity Castle anime film will be screened with the Mugen Train revival showings in Japan. The special  Infinity Castle  sneak peek was shown at the event earlier today and will be presented as a “theatrical-only” trailer following the screening of the  Mugen Train  film.  RELATED: Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Infinity Castle First Movie Premieres July 18 in Japan Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Infinity Castle , the first movie in the trilogy adapting the final arc of the manga series into anime, will release in Japan on July 18 and  will begin its worldwide releases in August 2025 , with United States and Canada screenings beginning September 12, 2025. The movie will be released worldwide in Japanese with English subtitles and an English dub, as well as released in IMAX and other premium large formats. Ahead of then, Crunchyroll and Aniplex of America will re-release Demon Slayer -Kimetsu no Yaiba- The Movie: Mugen Train  in 4K in the United States and Canada starting May 14 and in select international regions the same day .  Haruo Sotozaki directs Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba at anime studio Ufotable. Akira Matsushima is the Chief Animation Director and Character Designer and music is by Yuki Kajiura and Go Shiina. Crunchyroll currently streams the entirety of the  Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba  anime series, including the  Mugen Train  film and the seven-episode  Mugen Train Arc .  Crunchyroll describes the upcoming Infinity Castle film as such: Tanjiro Kamado – a boy who joined an organization dedicated to hunting down demons called the Demon Slayer Corps after his younger sister Nezuko was turned into a demon. While growing stronger and deepening his friendships and bonds with fellow corps members, Tanjiro has battled many demons with his comrades – Zenitsu Agatsuma and Inosuke Hashibira. Along the way, his journey has led him to fight alongside the Demon Slayer Corps’ highest-ranking swordsmen, the Hashira, including Flame Hashira Kyojuro Rengoku aboard the Mugen Train, Sound Hashira Tengen Uzui within the Entertainment District, as well as Mist Hashira Muichiro Tokito and Love Hashira Mitsuri Kanroji at the Swordsmith Village. As the Demon Slayer Corps members and Hashira engaged in a group strength training program, the Hashira Training, in preparation for the forthcoming battle against the demons, Muzan Kibutsuji appears at the Ubuyashiki Mansion. With the head of the Demon Corps in danger, Tanjiro and the Hashira rush to the headquarters but are plunged into a deep descent to a mysterious space by the hands of Muzan Kibutsuji. The destination of where Tanjiro and Demon Slayer Corps have fallen is the demons’ stronghold – the Infinity Castle.
