AS ONE Anime Movie Teaser Trailer Announces August 22 Release Date

The official website for the upcoming sci-fi anime feature film AS ONE released a teaser trailer today, announcing the film's theatrical release date in Japan of August 22, 2025 . Gyoubu is best known for his mechanical design works for recent Gundam anime series, including Gundam - Reconguista in G (2014-2015), Mobile Suit GUNDAM Iron Blooded Orphans (2015-2017), and Mobile Suit Gundam the Witch from Mercury (2022-2023. He also served as the mechanical designer of the original game as well. It will serve as a prequel to the game's story, taking place 20 years before the game. The title AS ONE is a reference to “AZ-One,” the pilot and player of the humanoid robot weapon "Aerial" in the original game. The movie is a completely original story that follows the setting and worldview of the original game and was created based on director Shizuno's concept, together with the production team and screenwriters.
