The remaster of Devil Summoner: Raidou Kuzunoha vs. The Soulless Army launches on July 19. Shadow Labyrinth , a Pac-Man-inspired Metroidvania, has released a new trailer and will be released on July 18 on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, Switch and PC via Steam. Rift of the NecroDancer , the spin-off of  Crypt of the NecroDancer , finally arrives on Nintendo Switch today after first being released for PC last year. RELATED: Nintendo Officially Reveals Nintendo Switch 2 The next  Pokémon  game,  Pokémon Legends: Z-A , also got an extended look in the Direct focusing on the wild zones throughout Lumiose City, where you can catch Pokémon freely (though not the only areas!) and the new Z-A Royale system. The system, which happens at night, lets trainers loose on the city, and if they see you, you battle them in the new battle system, which also features a ranked system that has to rank up from Z to A rank. Keeping with the beat of the Direct was the announcement of Rhythm Heaven Groove for 2026. Sprinkled throughout the Direct were some not-game announcements. The first of these was virtual game cards, a change in how digital games will be shared on the Nintendo Switch systems – yes, that includes the Switch 2.  The new system will have digital games, now known as virtual game cards, able to be shared around, though with some limits. The main system will only work with two Switches, and an internet connection will be required for activation and then sent locally. It also works with family accounts, where you can lend games out for up to two weeks and only one at a time. The new system will roll out in late April with a software update. SaGa Frontier 2 Remastered was announced and released during the Direct for PlayStation 4, Switch (of course!), PC via Steam and smartphones. Monument Valley 1 and 2 finally make their way to the Switch on April 15. Monument Valley 3 will follow later this Summer.  Tomodachi Life: Living the Dream Announcement Trailer After over a decade  and a lot of fan outpouring, a brand new  Tomodachi Life  game was announced for the Switch as a last hurrah for the console. Titled  Tomodachi Life: Living the Dream , the game looks to be as wacky as the original, just on a much larger scale. It’s set to be  released in 2026. Capping off the Direct was Shigeru Miyamoto announcing Nintendo Today !, a new app that, as Miyamoto stated, “delivers information direct to you.” After the Nintendo Direct on April 2, Switch 2 news will be announced daily through the application. It’ll also host wallpapers and other news straight from the company and provide a daily calendar. The application will be released later today on smartphones. Source: Nintendo Direct on YouTube
