 MLB Announces Heroes of the Game Anime Project with Director Hiroshi Shimizu
Hot on the heels of a collaboration with Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba , Major League Baseball is dipping back into the anime space for a new project. MLB announced Heroes of the Game , which has the organization partnering with “anime artists whose credits range from One Piece to Fullmetal Alchemist .” Director Hiroshi Shimizu (chief animation director on The House of the Lost on the Cape ) has been tapped for the project, which is billed as an “anime journey featuring Shohei Ohtani, Paul Skenes, Aaron Judge and Juan Soto.” Check out a preview below.
