ME & ROBOCO Anime Movie Releases Romantic Comedy World Character Visual, Trailer

The official website for ME & ROBOCO: The Movie , the upcoming anime film based on the comedy manga by Shuhei Miyazaki, has released a character visual and trailer for the Roboco in the world of romantic comedy. The movie features an original story based on the episode “Multiverse and Roboco,” in which Roboco from various world lines come together. In addition to Mayumi Tanaka for the classic battle world, Shigeru Chiba for the genuine sci-fi action world, and Masako Nozawa for the Showa-era gag manga world, Sumire Uesaka voices the Roboco in the world of romantic comedies. Shueishia serializes the original Me & Roboco manga in their Weekly Shonen Jump manga magazine. VIZ Media also publishes an English language version of the series. Akitaro Daichi directs both the ME & ROBOCO TV anime and the upcoming ME & ROBOCO film at animation studio Gallop. Michihiro Sato acts as assistant director, Sayuri Ooba provides the script and Yuko Ebara provides the character designs. The TV anime series aired for 28 episodes from December 2022 to June 2023. Crunchyroll is steaming the TV series and describes its synopsis as such: Ten-year-old Bondo has always dreamt of owning a cute robot maid. They’re beautiful, sweet, and graceful servants. But when he finally gets his hands on one, she’s not what he expected. Roboco is twice the size of other maids, twice as strong, and twice as weird! Something’s off about this robot.
