Japan Box Office: TRILLION GAME Live-Action Movie Debuts at No.1

The latest film is a sequel to the 2023 TV drama based on the manga series created by Riichiro Inagaki (story) and Ryoichi Ikegami (art). TRILLION GAME made a first-place debut at the weekend box office and beat the latest entry from the Marvel Cinematic Universe, Captain America: Brave New World, in second place, which earned 463 million yen (3.01 million USD) in its opening weekend in Japan.
