Advance theatrical screenings of Mobile Suit Gundam GQuuuuuuX -Beginning- , a re-edited episode version of the upcoming Mobile Suit Gundam GQuuuuuuX TV series, began in 426 theaters (including 52 IMAX ones) across Japan on January 17, 2025. The anime's official website announced that it earned 598,832,300 yen (3.85 million USD) on 352,522 admissions in its first three days between Friday and Sunday, making a first place debut in the weekend box office ranking.
