Seriously, major spoilers ahead! The Might of Majin Kuu Majin Kuu, flanked by Arinsu, has arrived to challenge Tamagami Number One to a fight for the Tamagami’s protected Dragon Ball. Majin Kuu begins with some goofy poses, but soon unleashes a barrage of vicious strikes that has the Tamagami on the defensive. However, the Tamagami is easily able to cut through one of Majin Kuu’s energy blasts, proving that the fight is far from lopsided. RELATED: Dragon Ball Watch Order & Sagas List Meanwhile, claiming to be family of the Gendarmerie, Goku’s group passes through a Warp into the second Demon World. They could pass directly to the first, but Goku wants that second Dragon Ball. In Hybis’ plane, the group discusses why Goku might be right to go after the Dragon Balls before trying to save Dende. Well, most of the group. Bulma is still impressed with how smooth and healthy her youthful skin is. Hybis offers to be Bulma’s boyfriend, a proposition that enrages Vegeta. Vegeta makes it clear. As soon as they get all three Demon World Dragon Balls, they’re ALL becoming adults again. RELEASE THE KRAKEN As Majin Kuu becomes more enraged and exhausted as he tries to take down the Tamagami, Goku’s team arrives in the Second Demon World. Unlike the first Demon World, this one is full of water. It brings back memories for Shin, who hasn’t been there in a long while. The diminutive Supreme Kai worries about krakens, large squid-like creatures that lurk in the deep. However, krakens are the least of their worries as a wave of Gendarmerie planes attack them and their ship! RELATED: A Guide to All Dragon Ball Saiyan Transformations, In Order Goku leaps out of the falling plane to attack the enemy ships in the air. He manages to take them all down while Gomah looks on from his castle, stunned. Goku flies back to his friends just as a kraken emerges and catches their plane with a tentacle. It looks as if the kraken eats Panzy and Goku, too. But that would be a pretty terrible end to Toei’s new Dragon Ball series, so Goku and Panzy fly out of the beast’s maw just in time. Shin decides to lead the group to the planet where the Nameks used to live. A hungry Goku eats a Revive bug to fill his belly a bit and the group finds that the Namek planet is deserted. Goku notices that Vegeta’s plane has entered this Demon World, the place that Piccolo’s father used to live. Goku tries to warn them about krakens, but they’re too late. The water monster reaches for this plane, too, and they’re luckily able to evade it. Hometown Feelings Majin Kuu abruptly stops the battle, tells Arinsu that he gives up, and the two fly away in her plane. Arinsu “fires” the eccentric Majin Kuu, who claims to be a good singer and great at going shopping. Meanwhile, Piccolo finds that this Namek planet feels “familiar and pleasant,” though he’s never been there before. Shin — well, Nahare, as the rest of the group comes to learn — recalls how the Nameks were treated by Supreme Demon Kings as little more than slaves. RELATED: Dragon Ball Villains Are Best When They're Just Goofy Guys Nahare/Shin tells the story of how he left the Demon Realm. Ages earlier, a Supreme Demon King wished to expand the Demon Realm. He told Super Majin Rymus to make a new universe, and Rymus then tasked select Glinds, like Nahare, to watch the new universes as Supreme Kais. In a time when the Warp was freely used for realm travel, many Glinds moved to a planet near Rymus. But Dabura’s predecessor, Abura, cut off much of the use of the Warp as he feared invasion in the Demon Realm. Many Glinds rebelled against Abura and fled. The trees that once bred the Glinds all died and eventually, there will be no Glinds left. It’s a sad story, but it doesn’t slow them down in their quest to find the second Dragon Ball. But just as they’re about to leave, a shadowy figure approaches the ship… Neva, the elderly Namek who summoned Shenron in the first episode! What did you think of Dragon Ball DAIMA Episode 10 ?
