First 5 Minutes of Be Forever Yamato REBEL 3199 1st Chapter Streamed

Ahead of its theatrical screenings, the official website for the Space Battleship Yamato remake anime series released the first five minutes of "The Black Invasion" ( Kuro no Shinryaku ), the first chapter of its latest installment, Be Forever Yamato REBEL 3199 ( Yamato yo Towa ni REBEL 3199 in Japan). The clip begins with poet reading by Shiro Sanada (CV: Hochu Otsuka), and slightly introduces a new heroine, Sasha / Mio Sanada. Then, a new invasion of the earth by a mysterious black object begins. Meanwhile, a new conspiracy regarding the invasion is being revealed on the earth by Yasuo Nanbu (CV: Kenji Akabane), the heir son of Nanbu Industry, which was involved in the construction of Yamato. Additionally, a 20-minute digest of the previous installments, which will be screened in theaters before the first chapter, is also streamed. The first of the new seven-chapter series (consisting of 26 episodes) is scheduled to open in Japan on July 19, 2024. Additionally, a special limited edition Blu-ray will be available for pre-sale at the theaters on the same day as the theatrical edition's release.
