Shogakukan-Shueisha Productions (ShoPro) announced today that an exhibition commemorating the 10th anniversary of the professional career of manga artist Kotoyama ( Dagashi Kashi , Call of the Night ), is set to be held at the Sunshine 60 Observation Deck in Ikebukuro, Tokyo, from September 7 to October 6, 2024. The exhibition's official website and X (formerly Twitter) have also opened, revealing a teaser visual featuring the two heroine characters — Nazuna Nanakusa from Call of the Night (top) and Hotaru Shidare from Dagashi Kashi (bottom). Dagashi Kashi was serialized in Shogakukan's Weekly Shonen Sunday for 11 volumes from 2014 to 2018, then Call of the Night followed for 20 volumes from 2019 to 2024. The former has a cumulative of four million copies in print; that of the latter, 5.2 million. The exhibition traces the 10-year history of Kotoyama's work, with many illustrations and works that have never been published. A number of limited-edition items will be on sale, including original T-shirts and acrylic stands featuring newly-drawnoriginal illustrations.
