Nijigasaki High School Idol Club  aired from October to December 2020 and the second season followed from April to June 2022. And its sequel OVA (original video animation) titled  Love Live! Nijigasaki High School Idol Club NEXT SKY  released in Japanese theaters in June 2023. The three-part film series will tell a a story after  NEXT SKY . All of the main voice cast members will return.
