The official website for Case Closed: The Million-dollar Pentagram , the 27th feature film in the Case Closed/Detective Conan anime franchise, announced on June 3 that the film had earned 14.4 billion yen (91.57 million USD) from 10.06 million ticket sales during its 52-day run through June 2 in Japan. This is the first time that a feature from the anime franchise has surpassed 10 million ticket sales in its 27-year history.
