KONOSUBA Anime Collabs with Tsumagoi Cabbage Fields in Gunma

While cabbages may exist in the KONOSUBA -God's blessing on this wonderful world! world as flying magical creatures (as depicted in the third episode of the TV anime's first season) for the KOBOSUBA party to fight against, this time they're teaming up! After a collaboration project was announced at AnimeJapan on March 24, the village of Tsumagoi in Gunma Prefecture appointed Kazuma, Aqua, Megumin, and Darkness, as "Tsumagoi Village Cabbage Ambassadors" on April 12. This included the anime's official website and Twitter posting photos of the commission letters from the village, as well. Today, a collaboration visual featuring new illustrations of the four were released in the roles, with Tsumagoi village in the background. The official logo for the collaboration project, featuring the flying cabbage, was also revealed. Tsumagoi is known in Japan as one of the country's largest exporters of cabbage, with the season running from summer to fall. Kazuma and a stuffed cabbage doll will also "visit" various parts of Tsumagoi in the campaign, with "Kazuma no Tsumagoi Dayori" ( Kazuma's Tsumagoi Journal ) introducing areas from Tsumagoi Village. Various photos of the village's four seasons will be posted on the anime's official Twitter (@konosubaanime) and other sites. The first photo is "Cherry Blossom Avenue in Mihara."
