Kinema Citrus Announces New Original Works Goodbye, Lara and Ninja Skooler

Animation studio Kinema Citrus ( CARDFIGHT!! VANGUARD overDress ) has announced a pair of new, original anime projects. The announcements were revealed at the Anime Central 2024 convention, which runs from May 17 – 19, 2024 in Chicago, Illinois. The two new projects are entitled Goodbye, Lara and Ninja Skooler . Goodbye, Lara imagines The Little Mermaid from the fairy tale by Hans Christian Andersen reborn in modern day Japan. Takushi Koide directs and provides the storyboards and Shiori Tani provides the character designs at animation studio Kinema Citrus. Goodbye, Lara teaser visual Ninja Skooler is set in a fantastical Edo period in which young children attend school for shinobi training. Shunsuke Takarai directs, Masato Hori provides the series composition, Hami provides the character designs, and Nanatsukaze (PIKASONIC & nakotanmaru) provides the music at animation studios Kinema Citrus and Breccia.
