Aimer Releases Teasing Master Takagi-san Live-Action Film Theme Song Music Video
TOHO MOVIE's official YouTube channel began streaming a special music video for Aimer 's latest song, "Haruka" ( Far Away ). The song is featured as the theme song for both the live-action TV drama and feature film adaptations of Soiichiro Yamamoto's romantic comedy manga series Teasing Master Takagi-san , also known as KARAKAI JOZU NO TAKAGI-SAN . Whereas the drama depicts the protagonists' middle school years, the film is set ten years after the original manga when Takagi returns to her old school as an educational intern and Nishikata has become a P.E. teacher at the same school. The special music video uses newly edited footage from the drama and the film, overlapping Takagi and Nishikata in their middle school days and ten years later, both linking to the song "Haruka," which was produced under the theme of "The town where the sea is seen." "Haruka" released digitally first on April 2, and will also be included in Aimer's new EP "Haruka / 800 / End of All / Ref:rain -3 nuits ver.-" set to release on June 5, 2024.
