OVERLORD: ESCAPE FROM NAZARICK Gets Physical Release from Limited Run Games
Video game publisher Limited Run Games has announced a new physical release for the Overlord: Escape from Nazarick video game spin-off of the Overlord novels by Kugane Maruyama, with pre-orders commencing on March 15 for both the standard and deluxe edition. Originally released in 2022 via Steam and later via Nintendo's eShop for the Switch, the game is also slated for a European physical release on the Switch this year. The game's story is described below: Clementine wakes to find herself imprisoned in the Great Tomb of Nazarick by none other than the Supreme Being, Ainz Ooal Gown, who forces her to participate in his brutal experiments. Bereft of her favorite weapons and a good chunk of her memories, Clementine must defeat all of Ainz's most formidable servants as she claws her way to freedom. The search for the exit begins now. The deluxe edition features the game's soundtrack audio CD, the Special Book featuring artwork and details from the game in Japanese and an Ainz Ooal Gown keychain, all housed in an oversized collector's case. Crunchyroll currently streams the Overlord anime adaptation and describes it: When a popular MMORPG is scheduled to be shut down permanently, veteran player Momonga refuses to log out. As NPCs begin to develop personalities and minds of their own he decides to put his skills to use as the game’s new overlord. Sources: Limited Run Product Page , Limited Run Games On Twitter
