Street Fighter III: 3rd Strike Back in the Mix for This Year's EVO Tournament Lineup

Members of the fighting game community came together in a special stream to help announce the main stage selection for this year's EVO Championship Series fighting game tournament event. Naturally, all of the latest heavy-hitters are present and accounted for, including Street Fighter 6 , Tekken 8 , Mortal Kombat 1 and more. The throwback game is an extra special treat, though, and fighting fans can look forward to some no-doubt intense showdowns in classic tourney game Street Fighter III: 3rd Strike .  The full featured tournament lineup includes: Street Fighter 6 Tekken 8 Guilty Gear -Strive- Granblue Fantasy Versus Rising Under Night In-Birth 2 Sys:Celes Mortal Kombat 1 King of Fighters XV Street Fighter III: 3rd Strike RELATED: Street Fighter 6 Gives Newcomer Ed Release Date, Special Fighting Pass EVO 2024 revealed its dates for both Las Vegas and Japan events back in August 2023. This time around the former will be held in the west hall of the Las Vegas Convention Center from July 19-21, 2024.
