December 2021 saw the reveal of a sequel series for The Irregular at Magic High School anime, which is currently slated to premiere sometime in 2024. More info came through in a video from Aniplex, which announced that LiSA will perform the sequel's opening theme song.  LiSA previously provided the "Rising Hope" opening theme song for the first The Irregular at Magic High School anime in 2014. That initial announcement was made on January 3, 2014, so it's only fitting that the announcement of LiSA's new theme would be made exactly 10 years later. Check out the video below, and look for more info to arrive on Thursday, as well as more to come during the big 10th anniversary year.  RELATED: The Irregular at Magic High School Gets Sequel Anime in 2024 As previously reported, Animation director Jimmy Stone, who previous worked on the anime in various capacities including as an episode director, mechanical designer, key animator and more will be taking up the helm as the series director. Taku Iwasaki is confirmed to be doing the music as is the previous cast. The animation will once again be done at 8-bit. Both seasons of  The Irregular at Magic High School  TV anime and the  The Irregular at Magic High School: Reminiscence Arc  OVA is streaming here on Crunchyroll, which describes the series as such: Based on the light novel by Tsutomu Sato, The irregular at magic high school is set in a world where magic exists but instead of using chants and spells, magic users cast spells with their Casting Assistant Device (CAD). The CAD is infused with the user’s Psions (a substance-less thought particle) that activates the device and constructs the magic ritual. Sources: Aniplex on YouTube , Anime News Network
