Square Enix has announced that Dissidia Final Fantasy: Opera Omnia will go offline on February 2, 2024. The game was released for iOS and Android devices back in February 2017 in Japan and January 2018 globally. According to Square Enix the reason for the shutdown is that it wouldn't be able to keep up with the quality of the game. "Since the launch of the service on February 2, 2017, we have been working hard every day to provide better services," Square said in a statement . "But we have come to the conclusion that it will be difficult to provide services that satisfy our customers in the future, so we have decided to terminate the service."
