Amaim Warrior at the Borderline New Series "Kyokko no Souki" Premieres This Summer

 

The official website for the AMAIM Warrior at the Borderline (also known as Kyoukai Senki in Japan) sci-fi mecha anime franchise released a key visual for its forthcoming new series, Kyoukai Senki: Kyokko no Souki. The tagline reads "It ends on this island. It breathes from this island."

 

The announcement also confirmed that the anime will have six episodes released in summer 2023.

The original TV series animated by SUNRISE BEYOND, AMAIM Warrior at the Borderline aired for two seasons for 25 episodes between 2021 and 2022. All episodes are currently available on Crunchyroll.

 

The official website describes the new series, Kyoukai Senki: Kyokko no Souki:

 

After the end of the Hokuriku front, a new land for the Japanese people was created, governed by the New Japan Cooperation Organization. However, this did not dramatically improve the situation in Japan. The effective control of the various powers in the country continued, and the oppression of the Japanese people, though lessened, continued. The same is true of the isolated islands in the South Sea. The Oceania Army, which is in effective control of the island, and the resistance organization "Hinukan" that resists them. Then the North American forces attacks, aiming to take over the isolated island--.
