TRIBE NINE Game to End Service This November

Akatsuki Games just launched “extreme action-RPG” TRIBE NINE on February 20, but a date is already in place for the shutdown. The publisher and developer announced plans to end service for the free-to-play game on November 27. The shutdown announcement means that previously-announced updates—including new playable characters and chapter 4 of the story—will not be released. TRIBE NINE is currently available on iOS, Android and PC via Steam. Planned playable characters that have now been canceled include Ichinosuke Akiba and Saizo Akiba. Paid in-game currency sales have also ceased as of May 14. Here’s the full message from the official social accounts: [Important] End of Service Announcement Thank you for your continued support of TRIBE NINE. We regret to inform you that service for TRIBE NINE will be terminated on November 27th, 2025 JST. Since the game's launch, the development and operations teams have strived to provide excellent service and improve player experience. However, after careful consideration, we have made the difficult decision to end the game's service. Unfortunately, this also means we are unable to deliver Ch. 4 of the story, which we had previously announced. We apologize for the sudden nature of this announcement to all our players. Information regarding the service termination schedule and any related procedures will be made through in-game notices and on the official website.
