Sunrise Robot Laboratory Project Releases New Clip Featuring Blue Gale Xabungle

Sunrise's official YouTube channel has started streaming "BLUE GALE XABUNGLE SIDE L," a new experimental movie from the Sunrise Robot Laboratory project. The subject of this new clip is Blue Gale Xabungle , Sunrise's classic robot TV anime series broadcast in 1982-1983. The clip recreated various memorable scenes from the story using the latest technology, and also featured the TV anime's original opening and ending theme songs sung by Akira Kushida. "BLUE GALE XABUNGLE SIDE L" RELATED: Combat Mecha Xabungle Anime to Get Modern "Experimental Video" in Sunrise Robot Laboratory Sunrise Robot Laboratory was launched by Bandai Namco Filmworks on May 8, 2024 with the purpose “to study and speculate on the Sunrise mechanics created to date from various perspectives, featuring robots that appear in Sunrise works, as part of efforts to communicate the appeal of anime, a Japanese culture, to the rest of the world." Following the first clip "AURA BATTLER DUNBINE SIDE R" in November 2024, Bandai Namco Filmworks and Kamikaze Douga again teamed up to produce "BLUE GALE XABUNGLE SIDE L." The clip is also shown at the 63rd Shizuoka Hobby Show held from today, May 14.
