Voice Actor Unit SoundOrion to Disband in December 2024
The official website for the four-member voice actor unit SoundOrion announced on November 4 that the unit will disband after their solo live concert held at Yamano Hall in Tokyo on December 25, 2024. The statement reads as follows: We apologize for the sudden notice and would like to express our sincere appreciation to all of our fans who have been supporting us and all those it may concern. We have been active for about eight years since March 10, 2017. After a series of discussions among the members and staff regarding the future of the group activities, we have come to the decision to disband. The members will continue to pursue their own dreams and goals, and we would like to ask for your continued support. Although there is little time left in our activity period, we will continue our activities so that we can express our gratitude to all of our fans who have been supporting us. The members also made the announcement about the group disbanding in the live-stream on their official YouTube channel last night. SoundOrion was formed by the seven winners of Stardust Promotion's first audition for its voice actor department in 2017, and three members subsequently left the group. The current four members are: Honoka Kuroki (Iroha Akishika in T EPPEN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Laughing 'til You Cry ) Momoyo Koyama (Karen Aijo in Revue Starlight ) Ami Komine (Satori Utsugi in CUE! ) Asuka Shioiri (Naoki Takagi in PuraOra! PRIDE OF ORANGE ) Honoka kuroki Momoyo Koyama Ami Komine Asuka Shioiri After releasing two singles, one full album, and three mini-albums from the promotion's own indie label, they finally made their major debut from Nippon Columbia with their first single "Angel Ladder" in May 2023. They have since released three singles, three mini-albums, and one full album to date. Their anime theme song works include: "Meguru Omoi Meguru" ( Netsuzou Trap - NTR - ending), "Tentaizu" ( Stardust Telepath ending theme), and "Sunny Canvas" ( Studio Apartment, Good Lighting, Angel Included ending). The group's two-disc all-time best album will also be available on the day of their final concert, December 25, 2024.
