FUUTO PI Anime Film Shares New Action-Packed Opening Day Trailer
Fuuto Tantei: Kamen Rider Skull no Shozo ("FUUTO PI: Portrait of Kamen Rider Skull"), a new feature film in the FUUTO PI anime series, opens in theaters across Japan today on November 8. To commemorate the theatrical release, the series' official X (formerly Twitter) is now streaming an action-packed new trailer. The film depicts the episode "Begins Night," which led the main character Shotaro Hidari and his partner Phillip to fight as Kamen Rider W. The new clip focuses on "Begins Night" and what happened to Shotaro, Phillip and Shotaro's mentor Shokichi Narumi that night. In addition to the intense battle scenes, the first transformation scene of Kamen Rider W Fang Joker in the movie is also featured. Kabashima directs the film as well on a screenplay by Riku Sanjo. Crunchyroll streams the FUUTO PI TV anime series and describes the story: In Fuuto, better known as the Windy City, mysterious beings called Dopants wreak havoc by using the dangerous Gaia Memories. However, there are also heroes who utilize the Gaia Memories to fight these criminals: a half-boiled and indecisive PI named Shotaro Hidari, and his partner Philip, an intellectual-type PI.
