Twin Engine, Straight Edge Host Anime de Sekai he! Novel Award

Twin Engine, an animation planning and production company, and Straight Edge, an IP production and writer management company, will hold a publicly solicited literary award, "Anime de Sekai he! Novel Award" (Aniseka Novel Award for short). The winning work is guaranteed to be published in book form and get its anime adaptation. Twin Engine has planned and produced many anime works such as Golden Kamuy and My Deer Friend Nokotan , and some of the most popular light novels produced by Straight Edge include Reki Kawahara's Sword Art Online and Tsutomu Sato's The Irregular at Magic High School . The project's website states that the goal of the project is "to meet outstanding talents, work with them to realize anime adaptation, and send it to the world." In addition to anime adaptation, a variety of multimedia development, such as comicalization or game adaptation, are also planned. The application period will be from September 6, 2024 to December 5, 2024, with the first selection results announced in early February 2025, the second selection results announced in late March 2025, and the final results announced in May 2025.
