Saint Young Men Live-Action Film Releases New Trailer Introducing Main Cast Members
The official website for Saint☆Oniisan THE MOVIE ~Holy Men VS Akuma Gundan (translated to Saint Young Men THE MOVIE ~Holy Men vs Devil's Army ) released a new trailer today. The clip introduces the film's main cast members, including the new cast members Takayuki Yamada and Tsuyoshi Muro (however their roles have not yet been revealed). Yamada, who also serves as the producer for the film, says, "I am very happy to be able to make a film adaptation of Saint Young Men . The film's story is a 'typical' one that will be enjoyed not only by fans of the original manga, but also by those who are new to Jesus and Buddah's vacation. Yuichi Fukuda ( Gintama live-action film series), who worked on the previous TV drama that ran for three seasons from 2018 to 2020, is again attached to direct. Main cast members include: Jesus played by Kenichi Matsuyama Buddha played by Shota Sometani Bonten played by Kento Kaku Michael played by Takanori Iwata Benzaiten played by Mai Shiraishi Teishakuten played by Ryo Katsuji Battle Hermit played by Jiro Sato Mara played by Masataka Kubota Mara's first daughter played by Mitsuki Yamamoto Mara's second daughter played by Hinako Sakurai Mara's third daughter played by Seina Nakata In the film's story, guardian deities, angels, war gods, goddesses, hermits, demons and angels gather in Japan, while Jesus, played by Kenichi Matsuyama (L in the Death Note live-action film series), and Buddha, played by Shota Sometani (Shinichi Izumi in the Parasyte live-action film series), transform into the Super Saint Holy Men, heroes who fight the demons that have come to rule this world.
