Overlord Exhibition Shares Photos from Tokyo Venue
The Overlord Exhibition , the first large-scale exhibition dedicated to Kugane Maruyama's isekai fantasy light novel series Overlod , which has printed over 14 million copies in total, will be held at Tokyo Solamachi Space 634 from September 14 to 29, 2024, then at the Kintetsu Main Store in Abeno Harukas, Osaka, from October 2 to 14. The exhibition features newly recorded voices of the characters, displays of production materials, and photo spots that recreate memorable scenes from the story. The event allows visitors to enjoy the world of Overlord, which has been developed in various ways over the past ten years since its the birth, including the original novel, anime, and manga. Original merchandises featuring newly drawn illustrations are also be available at the on-venue store. In the anime area, recreations of scenes and items depicted in the story are exhibited, as well as copies of the original animation drawings, scenes and dialogues from memorable scenes, and production materials. Meanwhile, in the original novel area, the manuscripts of the early novel story by Maruyama are exhibited for the first time, as well as answers to questions asked by fans in advance, and the novel's illustrator so-bin's early illustration settings, and rough drawings of the cover illustrations. The Tokyo venue opens today, September 14, and some of its contents have been revealed in photos below.
