Dokidoki! Precure Sequel Novel Immediately Goes Into Reprint

Precure , was published from Kodansha's Kodansha Character Bunko imprint on September 17, 2024. Only one day later, on September 18, the official X (formerly Twitter) for the editorial department of the publisher's Tanoshii Youchien magazine announced that the novel immediately goes into reprint. The statement reads: "We apologize that the book is out of stock in some stores and that it has been difficult to purchase. The book is expected to be distributed to bookstores in due course. Precure Gets A Sequel Novel in 2024 Following the ninth installment Smile Precure! , Dokidoki! Precure aired in Japan for 49 episodes from February 2013 to January 2014. Toei Animation's official USA site describes the series as such: Thanks to Sharuru, a fairy from the Trump Kingdom, and the power of mysterious accessories called Cure Lovies, Mana transforms into Cure Heart! Mana, her close friend Rikka, her high-class childhood friend Alice, and the enigmatic, cool super idol singer Makoto all become legendary saviors. Together, they purify the Jikochu, who have forgotten about love! Ryota Yamaguchi, who was in charge of series composition for the original TV series, serves as the writer of the sequel novel, and original character designer Akira Takahashi provides illustrations. The sequel is set a year after the last battle depicted in the TV series and begins with episode 50, a continuation of the TV anime's final episode 49. Mana, Rikka, Makoto, and Alice have completely regained their normal lives. And Regina has entered Mana and Rokka's junior high school. They are enjoying their peaceful days together with Aguri. Then one day, Jikochu, who was supposed to be buried in that final battle, suddenly appears... Two days before the release of the novel, the Precure franchise's official X (formerly Twitter) teased an appearance of a new Precure girl, posting a visual of the girl who has a spear.
