Anisong Duo ClariS Announces Karen's Graduation

The official website for anisong duo ClariS announced on September 1 that Karen, one of the unit's two current members, will graduate after "ClariS AUTUMN TOUR 2024,” their next live concert tour scheduled from October to November 2024. In the hand-written message posted on the website, Karen explained the reason for her departure: "The reason for my graduation is to fulfill another dream of mine, which is to get married and raise a warm family like the one I grew up in," and added, "Although there are only a few days left of my activities, I will do my best to express my gratitude to you. To all my fans, I hope you will warmly watch over me until the end." Clara added to Karen's graduation announcement that, "I will do my best to support the warm dream that Karen has found. I, Clara, will continue to deliver songs that I love to you all. I look forward to your continued support for ClariS in the future." At the time of reporting, it is not clear if Clara will perform alone or if a new member will join ClariS in the future. ClariS artist new visual The unit's next (and final for Karen) concert tour titled "ClariS AUTUMN TOUR 2024 ~ Via Fortuna ~ " will open in three cities (with five performances) in Japan from October 26 to November 10. Additionally in October, which marks the 14th anniversary of their debut, the duo will release two new albums: a mini-album "AUTUMN TRACKS - Aki no Uta -" on October 16 and a new best album "ClariS ~ SINGLE BEST 2nd ~" on October 23.
