Voice Actor Shugo Nakamura Releases 10th Anniversary Photo Book in October 2024

*Photo from his 2021 book "Shugo Nakamura #1 Day-1 Shugo Daily Calendar" Japanese publisher Tokyo News Tsushinsha announced that voice actor Shugo Namamura 's new photo book is set to release on October 7, 2024. The release will celebrate his 10th anniversary debut as a voice actor. Nakamura, now 35, made his voice acting debut in February 2015 with the role of Teru Tendo in THE IDOLM@STER Side M . His other well-known anime characters include Gin Gagamaru in BLUE LOCK and Ryota Miyagi in THE FIRST SLAM DUNK . He is also active as a solo singer since 2019, writing his own lyrics and composing his own music, as well as appearing in TV dramas, variety shows and more. The up-and-coming photographer MARCO took photos in various situations to trace the roots of how “voice actor Shugo Nakamura” came to be. "I am so happy to be able to publish a photo book commemorating the 10th anniversary of my voice acting career!" said Nakamura. "We did the shoot in my hometown, Okinawa. Yay! I grew up in Okinawa for 18 years. Even though it's been a while, I feel like a child again when I go back! I got to shoot in many different situations. We went to the river, the ocean, boxing and so on. And it was so hot in Okinawa in the summer! But the team had a lot of fun while taking the photos seriously together!
