Toilet-bound Hanako-kun Season 2 Anime Premieres in January 2025
Double the trouble and double the fun! Courtesy of a special summer event held in Japan today, we've officially received word that the much-anticipated second season of Toilet-bound Hanako-kun is scheduled to begin airing in January 2025 . But we won't have to wait long for more supernatural mischief, since the four-episode sequel to After-school Hanako-kun is now slated to premiere on October 7 later this year. A new teaser trailer was also released for each title, with the former confirming Yohei Fukui as the main series' new director. Studio Lerche continues to produce the animation. Masaki Kitamura directed the first four episodes of the After-school Hanako-kun spin-off anime, also at studio Lerche. Crunchyroll streams both series and describes the main story: Kamome Academy is rumored to have many mysteries, the strangest of which involves the mischievous ghost of Hanako-kun. When occult-loving high schooler Nene Yashiro accidentally becomes bonded to him, she uncovers a hidden world of supernatural beings.
