KING OF PRISM Anime Releases 8th Anniversary Special Visual

The KING OF PRISM anime franchise officially began its history with the 2016 film KING OF PRISM by PrettyRhythm . To celebrate its eight anniversary, the franchise's official Twitter has posted a special visual featuring its seven main characters. The KING OF PRISM franchise originally launched as a spin-off to the 2013-2014 TV anime Pretty Rhythm: RainbowLive , the third installment of the Pretty series co-produced by Tatsunoko Production and Dong Woo Animation. Its first film KING OF PRISM by Pretty Rhythm released in January 2016, and its sequel KING OF PRISM: Pride the Hero followed in June 2017. Its third installment, KING OF PRISM: Shiny Seven Stars screened in theaters first in four chapters from March to May 2019, and its 12-episode TV series edition  aired from April to July 2019. KING OF PRISM -Dramatic PRISM.1- , a compilation film based on KING OF PRISM: Shiny Seven Stars is set to release in theaters across Japan on August 16, 2024. It will be the first feature film in four years from the franchise. From today, June 21, the second MovieTicke advance ticket using the key visual will be on sale at theaters nationwide and online, and will come with a visual card using the eighth anniversary visual (eight types in total) as a special bonus. Koji, Hiro, and Kazuki from Over The Rainbow left Edel Rose and established a new agency. Meanwhile, after having the title of Prism King stolen by Hiro, the leader of Schwarz Rose, Norizuki Jin, proposes PRISM.1, which would decide a new king other than Prism King. He then announces that Schwarz Rose and Edel Rose will be competing with each other.
