Witchy PreCure! Anime Sequel Reveals Official Title, Premiere Date
An official website for the upcoming sequel to the 13th Precure TV series, Witchy PreCure! (known as Maho Tsukai Precure! / Maho Girls Precure! in Japan), opens today on May 28, announcing its official title and premiere date in Japan. The official title in Japanese is Maho Tsukai Precure!! ~ MIRAI DAYS~ . It is set to premiere on ABC TV/TV Asahi networks' midnight programming block "ANiMAZiNG!!!" on January 11, 2025, at 26:00 (JST). The tagline on the site reads: "The magical word, 'Cure Up RaPaPa!' Sequel Projects for Adult Audience Under the tentative title Maho Tsukai Precure! 2 , Toei Animation revealed the sequel project back in March 2023, along with Power of Hope ~PreCure Full Bloom~ , the sequel to the fourth TV series Yes! Precure 5 (2007-2008) and fifth series Yes! Precure 5 Gogo! (2008-2009). As the 13th installment in the long-running Precure anime franchise, Witchy PreCure! aired for 50 episodes from February 2016 to January 2017. Toei Animation's official USA site describes the series: Mirai Asahina, a thirteen-year-old girl who is excited by various things, goes with her stuffed doll Mofurun to investigate a mysterious object that fell from the sky. There, she meets a young magician named Riko who is searching for something known as the Linkle Stone Emerald.
