THE FIRST TAKE is a YouTube channel that tasks musicians and singers with performing songs in a single take. It launched in November 2019, releasing over 430 performance videos to date. Following Lilas Ikuta and ano's performance of "ZeZeZeZettai Seiiki" on May 10, the two returned for the newest episode to perform "Seishun Ohka," the theme song for the second part of the two-part DEAD DEAD DEMONS DEDEDEDE DESTRUCTION anime film, based on Inio Asano's ( Solanin , Downfall ) manga of the same name. The two are also cast as the film's protagonists — Lilas Ikuta (the vocalist of the musical unit YOASOBI ) as Kadode Koyama and ano as Oran Nakagawa. "ZeZeZeZettai Seiiki" features ano as the lead singer, while Ikuta is the lead singer of "Seishun Ohka." As previously announced , Crunchyroll will stream the anime in a new episodic format for members in North America, Central America, South America, Europe, Africa, Oceania, the Middle East, CIS, Indian subcontinent and Southeast Asia. The anime will premiere on Crunchyroll on May 23 at 8:00 p.m. PT, with new episodes premiering weekly.
