Kakuriyo -Bed & Breakfast for Spirits- Anime Season 2 Announced for Fall 2025
The official Twitter account for the Kakuriyo -Bed & Breakfast for Spirits- series announced today that a second season is officially in production. A new teaser visual was released to celebrate the announcement, alongside the news that the new season is scheduled to premiere in fall 2025. News about cast and staff was not announced at the time of reporting. Teaser Visual Midori Yuna, the original author for the series, also posted a celebration illustration on their Twitter account following the announcement. A manga adaptation, illustrated by Waco Ioka, began in 2016 with 10 volumes released in Japan. VIZ Media releases the English version of the manga by Waco Ioka. A new manga adaptation illustrated by Tsugaru Toba began in January 2023. Yoshiko Okuda directed the first season of the anime at studio Gonzo, with Tomoko Kanparu handling the series composition, Yoko Sato on character design and Takuro Iga handling the music. The anime aired for 26 episodes from April to September 2018. Crunchyroll currently streams Kakuriyo -Bed & Breakfast for Spirits- and describes the series: After losing her grandfather, Aoi—a girl who can see spirits known as ayakashi—is suddenly approached by an ogre. Demanding she pay her grandfather’s debt, he makes a huge request: her hand in marriage!
