Hololive's Mixed-Media Project Magical Girl holoWitches Releases First Main Trailer
Following the teaser trailer introduced on Wednesday, Japanese virtual YouTuber agency hololive's new magical girl-themed mixed-media project Magical Girl holoWitches! released an main trailer on its official website today on May 17. The project features the six VTubers who belong to the agency — Sakura Miko , Houshou Marine , Amane Kanata , Himemori Luna , Sakamata Chloe , and Murasaki Shion . They play themselves in the project. The clip introduces two more original fairy characters — Aelu voiced by Rie Takahashi (Megumin in KONOSUBA -God's blessing on this wonderful world! ) and Lagu voiced by Aoi Yuki (Madoka Kaname in Puella Magi Madoka Magica ). The project's official website describes the project's story: This is a world where the magical world of “Holocas World” exists, created when the light of people's hearts, “Holo,” is gathered through the “Holocas” streaming app. The main characters are usually active as “Holocas” streamers. The “Yumeochi” phenomenon occurs when people who are anxious or stressed in their daily lives and have lost their positive attitude are sucked into the “Holocas World” with their souls. And The monster “Collapser” is created by “Yumeochi." The main characters transform into magical girls called “Holowitches” and spend their days fighting to defeat “Collapser” and save those who have been sucked into "Yumeochi." What is “Yumeochi”?
