Pripara Franchise Plans 10th Anniversary Exhibition in August 2024
"Dai Pripara-ten" ( The Great Pripara Exhibition ), a special exhibition looking back on the 10th anniversary of the Pripara franchise, is set to be held at the Shibuya Seibu B building's event space (B1F) from August 9 to 25, 2024. The event will also be held later in Fukuoka and Osaka, details to be revealed at a later date. An 80-second PV for the exhibition is now online. This year marks the 10th anniversary since the amusement game and TV animation launched in Japan in July 2014. The first TV anime series, Pripara , aired for 140 episodes from July 2014 to March 2017, then followed by its direct sequel, Idol Time Pripara , with 51 episodes from April 2017 to March 2018. Its latest series, Idol Land Pripara , is being developed both as a web animation from August 2021 and as a smartphone game from August 2023. This exhibition will look back on the 10-year history of Pripara , focusing on the friendship and miracles of the protagonist, Laala and the important character Faluu. Additionally, an idol directory of the well-known characters in the series, a "Pripara Chronological Table" to learn about the history of Pripara, photo spots that recreate the legendary scene and "Making Drama," and a display of costumes from the live performances, are planned. An image idol for this exhibition, Laalulu from 1000 years in the future, is newly created. She is an idol who inherits the genes of Laala and Falulu, as conceived by the series director, Makoto Moriwaki, and designed by the game development company, Sin Sophia.
