Keanu Reeves to Voice Shadow in Sonic the Hedgehog 3 Movie
The holiday season will deliver a speedy little gift when Sonic the Hedgehog 3 opens on December 20, 2024, and now we know who will be voicing brooding anti-hero Shadow the Hedgehog. According to a story from The Hollywood Reporter , that role will go to John Wick himself, Keanu Reeves. The first film, which premiered in 2020, pulled in $319 million at the global box office, with 2022's Sonic the Hedgehog 2 following that up with $404 million. The third entry is once again directed by Jeff Fowler, with Pat Casey and Josh Miller writing and a cast that includes Ben Schwartz (sonic), James Marsden (Tom Wachowski), Jim Carrey (Dr. Robotnik), Tika Sumpter (Maddie Wachowski), Colleen O'Shaughnessey (Tails) and Idris Elba (Knuckles).
