One of these steps was the Paris special screening, where French fans enjoyed the presence of Aniplex producer Yuma Takahashi, a musical performance from milet, and some words from Natsuki Hanae, Tanjiro's Japanese voice actor! Crunchyroll News got to sit down with Hanae and speak with him about the latest World Tour, what to expect in the next Demon Slayer arc, and more! Yuma Takahashi, Natsuki Hanae and milet in Paris for a special screening Could you tell us about your growth into the role of Tanjiro? Natsuki Hanae : Tanjiro begins his journey in a tragic and extremely difficult context: he has to deal with the cruel loss of his entire family. In order to overcome this, he is forced to internalize all his grief. At least he still has his little sister Nezuko, who survived despite being transformed into a demon, and he would do anything to protect her. I find that his profound honesty and unfailing brotherly love are the elements that guide me in the incarnation of this character. What are your perspectives on the current World Tour compared to the previous one? Hanae : I think I'm getting the hang of it. [Laughs] Last year, during the - To the Swordsmith Village- event, we enjoyed our first major world tour. It was an extraordinary opportunity to meet international audiences and gauge the phenomenal impact of Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba . This unforgettable experience has fuelled our desire to return this year and once again share the enthusiasm of our fans around the world. How do you perceive the growing popularity of Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba around the world, and its evolution over the years? Hanae : I'm very happy to see that the series is gaining in popularity. I think Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba is about the importance of how people feel about each other. I think that's the main theme of the series, it's a universal theme, so I can say that's what's behind the international success of the work. Hanae: What are my expectations? First of all, the whole idea of training new Hashiras raises several questions: how will Tanjiro's new training go? How will he grow stronger? How will relations with and between the current Hashiras evolve? It's an important arc for Tanjiro, but also for the Demon Slayer Corps, who reach a new milestone [in their fight against demons]. Personally, when I read the manga, I thought it was a very crucial arc because it offers an in-depth look at the history and motivations of the Hashiras, central yet still mysterious figures in the story. What about the franchise in general? Hanae : The growing success of the event and the Demon Slayer series never ceases to amaze me. Every year, I can't wait to see what surprises the future holds and how this fascinating universe evolves. What will next year's event be all about? How will the work continue to evolve? Like the original manga, Demon Slayer has a unique aura that gives me the impression, and above all the privilege, of being part of an extraordinary adventure. I can't wait to continue the adventure and give it my all next year. Do you have any final words for our readers, who are eagerly awaiting the new episodes? Hanae : Your enthusiasm for each new season and episode is an invaluable source of motivation for us all. It's thanks to your unwavering support that Tanjiro and his friends continue to advance in their fight. So please continue to encourage them and make our work even more exciting! Don't hesitate to send me your messages of support, I'll read them with pleasure. Thank you so much for your commitment.
