Tokyo Xanadu eX+ Launches for Switch in the West This June
Aksys Games has announced that Tokyo Xanadu eX+ will come to Nintendo Switch for Western audiences in June. The Aksys Games Online Store, has an exclusive edition bundle that includes the Switch version of the game and a four-CD set for $70. This version also contains all previously DLC and a revamped localization. RELATED: Tokyo Xanadu eX+ Gets Japanese Nintendo Switch Release in June Tokyo Xanadu eX+ is one of the few other series from Falcom aside from the Ys and Trails franchises. Its gameplay is a mix of both, featuring the real-time combat of Ys and the relationship mechanics of Trails , particularly the Cold Steel entries. Its school setting and dungeon crawling aspects also take inspiration from series like Persona . The original version of Tokyo Xanadu was released for PlayStation Vita in Japan in 2015 and worldwide in 2017. The upgraded Tokyo Xanadu eX+ version was first released for PlayStation 4 in Japan in 2016. It also launched worldwide in 2017, along with a PC version.
