Frieren: Beyond Journey's End Anime Plans Orchestra Concert in August

A special orchestra concert featuring the soundtrack music from the Frieren: Beyond Journey's End anime franchise is set to be held at the Pacifico Yokohama National Convention Hall (capacity: 5,000) in Kanagawa Prefecture on Wednesday, August 21, 2024. The concert will be performed by the Tokyo Philharmonic Orchestra and conducted by Shinsuke Tajiri. Evan Call, who composed the music for the anime, and singer milet , who sang the anime's ending theme songs, will also join as special guests. This is the first time that a full orchestra of the Tokyo Philharmonic Orchestra will perform the soundtrack tunes while showing footage from the anime in the back of the stage. Additionally, milet will take the stage to perform two ending theme songs, "bliss" and "Anytime Anywhere," with the orchestra. The advance application period for tickets priced at 9,600 yen (63/9 USD) is from April 16 to April 30, 2024. To apply, you will need a lottery application coupon enclosed in the anime's original soundtrack album to be released on April 17.
