Uta no Prince-sama Anime Franchise to Get New Film featuring QUARTET NIGHT

The portal site for the Uta no Prince-sama franchise announced on December 24 that a new film featuring QUARET NIGHT is now in the works. As the "senior" group to ST☆RISH, the franchise's main idol group, QUARTET NIGHT has appeared since the TV anime second season Uta no Prince -sama Maji Love 2000% aired in 2013. The franchise's first concert film featuring the seven-member idol unit ST☆RISH, Uta no Prince-sama The Movie: Maji LOVE Kingdom , released in Japan in June 2019 and earned 1.82 billion yen (12.79 million USD) from its total domestic run. Then the second film, Uta no Prince-sama The Movie: Maji LOVE ST☆RISH TOUR , followed in September 2022 and surpassed the predecessor's box office gross by earning 2.29 billion yen (16.09 million USD).
