Nakaba Suzuki’s Rising Impact Golf Manga Gets Anime Adaptation

The first details were released confirming that Nakaba Suzuki's Rising Impact golf manga, which ran in Shonen Jump from 1998 to 2002 and marked his manga debut, will get an anime adaptation set for summer 2024. Netflix will stream the series split into two seasons, premiering in June and then August 2024. The first teaser follows below, along with a celebratory illustration and comments from Suzuki. Nakaba Suzuki statement: "I never imagined that, after 25 years, my debut work would be adapted into an anime on Netflix! The production team meticulously recreated the illustrations, demonstrating an extraordinary love for this project. As the author, I am truly overwhelmed. The artwork and direction are simply outstanding, and the voice actors delivered performances that perfectly matched the characters." Rising Impact is directed by Hitoshi Nanba ( Golden Kamuy ), with Michihiro Tsuchiya ( Bakuman ) as the screenwriter. Character design is led by Kiyotaka Oshiyama ( Chainsaw Man ) and the music is composed by Masaru Yokoyama ( Yowamushi Pedal , Chihayafuru ). Lay-duce will handle the animation production.
