Disney+ continues its foray into anime with Dragons of Wonderhatch , an upcoming live-action/animated hybrid fantasy epic. Today, we get a closer look at the both halves of the project, and how the worlds of live-action and fantasy anime will intertwine. The series will air starting December 20 exclusively on Disney+. Dragons of Wonderhatch is a live-action and animated "fantasy blockbuster" helmed by live-action Tokyo Ghoul director Kentaro Hagiwara, One Piece: Stampede 's Takashi Ootsuka as animation director and The Promised Neverland mangaka Posuka Demizu as original character designer.
