The official Twitter for the CARDFIGHT!! VANGUARD multimedia franchise has unveiled a key visual for CARDFIGHT!! VANGUARD Divinez , a new TV anime series which is set to premiere in January 2024. It will be the sixth season in the "D Series" following CARDFIGHT!! VANGUARD overDress with two seasons (25 episodes) and CARDFIGHT!! VANGUARD will+Dress with three seasons (38 episodes). As reported in January 2023, the "D Series" will run for nine consecutive cours, until December 2025. It has also been announced that Toshiya Miyata, a member of SMILE-UP's (formerly known as Johnny & Associates) male idol band Kis-My-Ft2, is cast as the anime's protagonist, Akina Myodo. He previously voiced Yuan Kasai and Mitsuki Kasai, the twin brother characters in Delicious Party Precure (2022-2023), but this will be his first time playing the protagonist in an anime series. Megumi invites Yu-yu to the Night Amusement Park "Wonder Hill" where her friends gather. The amusement park is where many youths of the Vanguard-centric group "Team Blackout" gather.
