On December 20, Oricon, a Japanese corporate group that supplies statistics and information on music and the music industry, released the 56th Oricon Annual Ranking 2023 , which summarizes music sales trends for the year 2023. According to its digital album ranking , "BOCCHI THE ROCK! Song Album Kessoku Band," the first album by the BOCCHI THE ROCK! TV anime's in-show band Kessoku Band, recorded 70,132 downloads and ranked No.1 in its ranking of 2023. This is more than double the number of downloads of YOAOSBI's "THE BOOK 3" (31,210), which came in second place. The 14-song album digitally released in Japan on December 25, 2022, then its CD edition followed three days later. After the digital release, the album ranked No. 1 for four consecutive weeks on Oricon's weekly digital album ranking from January 2 to January 23. Additionally, the Recording Industry Association of Japan (RIAJ) certified the CD edition of the album as "gold" by shipping more than 100,000 copies since its release in February 2023.
