GUNDAM Fan e-Festival 2023 Celebrates US Fandom With Activities and Updates

Bandai Namco is pulling out all of the online and virtual stops starting this week to celebrate US. Gundam fandom with a two-week long GUNDAM Fan e-Festival that will run from Thursday November 23 (Thanksgiving Day) until December 10. The slate of activities includes everything from fan favorite Gundam anime and movie streams, to project updates featuring production staff. The key events are detailed below. HACK THE “MOVING GUNDAM” in Japan A live game event will be held on December 3rd starting at 12:00PM PST/3:00PM EST, where fans will be able to move the life-size "MOVING RX-78F00 GUNDAM" remotely from the USA. Fans who have pre-registered on Bandai Namco's website with a login will be entered in a lottery to participate in an online event to control the aforementioned Gundam. A FANMADE GUNPLA MOVIE:“OUR DAYDREAM” The official promotional video for the event has been produced by accepting Gunpla submissions from fans and a making-of video will be shared on the site. GUNDAM THEATER Based on the results of the fan voting held in advance of the festival, TURN A GUNDAM and all of GUNDAM Reconguista in G will be available to stream during the festival. In addition, a GUNDAM BUILD METAVERSE watch party will be held for the three episode OVA and all of the GUNDAM BUILD anime series will also be streamed online. Mobile Suit GUNDAM the WITCH from MERCURY will also be available to stream for a limited time with the subtitled and dubbed version available from November 23rd. Additional titles will also be available to stream on the event website from November 23rd to December 10th. GUNDAM NEWS STREAM For the final main event, producers from Bandai Namco Filmworks INC. will make an appearance via video stream and give updates on upcoming anime projects.
