Seiko continues its push for anime collaborations, this time paying tribute to legendary sci-fi manga COBRA . The brand-new watch was created to commemorate the 45th anniversary of the manga by Buichi Terasawa beginning serialization in Japan, and a limited edition of 1,978 pieces will be sold through the Premico online store, paying tribute to the year the series began. The mark of the Turtle spaceship is placed at the 12 o'clock position on the red dial, and an inset silhouette of Cobra is also featured behind the minute hand of the stopwatch. The second counter has a design inspired by the Psycho Gun, and the 24-hour counter has a design inspired by the gun barrel inset behind the hour hand. In addition, a profile illustration of Cobra lighting up a cigarette is engraved on the back of the watch case along with the edition number.
